Aviator Singhania - Big achievements in the Aero Space

   Aviator Vijaypat Singhania, a former Sheriff of Mumbai, holds the world record for highest altitude gained travelling in a Hot Air Balloon. This assumed even more significance as this was achieved when he was 67years old.

  In addition to the above, Singhania also has the world record for his solo microlight flight from UK to India which he did in 1988. He subsequently wrote a book on this narrating his experiences Aviator Singhania - Big achievements in the Aero Space from this journey. In 1994, Singhania won the gold medal in an air race covering a distance of 34,000 km in 24 days. In celebration of this achievement, he was conferred the rank of Honorary Air Commodore of the Indian Air Force.
