PM’s Career counselling portal: Seven points to note

   Are you looking for a job but can’t find a right resource to see relevant job listings? You now have a reason to rejoice. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the National Career Counselling Portal on July 20, 2015 at the 46th session of Indian Labour Conference, with the view of modernising all government-run employment exchanges.

     Gone are the days of old employment exchanges as the Union government is out with its new website which will help you find a job that suits your profile. The facility focuses on creating a direct market place for employers and job seekers. Here are some key points about the portal:

1. These exchanges will be called National Career Counselling Centres, set up under the National Career Service (NCS) project. The web portal will be a one-stop platform for both job seekers and employers, where registration can be done online.
