The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) through a gazette notification on 24th February 2022 made it mandatory for Diploma in Pharmacy Students to attend an Exit Examination to become eligible as a Pharmacist and to apply for Pharmacist Registration.
Only students who have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy course with more than 50 per cent score will be eligible for the course. This exit examination of Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharm students came to be known DPEE Exam 2024: Pharmacists in a fix as Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Examination (DPEE).
