Misana’s Recipes: Bombay Samosas ,Curried Potato Pastries, Potato wraps with minted yoghurt relish and Pea and potato curry.

1. Bombay Samosas

Ingredients

Onion chopped 1

Garlic clove crushed 2

Ginger grated ½ tsp

Curry powder ½ teaspoon

Potatoes boiled 350 gms

Beans 50 gms, boiled and chopped

Carrot 1, grated Green peas 100gms, boiled

 

Method of Preparation

  Fry ½ tsp mustard seed in 1 tbsp of oil until they crackle.Add chopped onion, crushed garlic cloves, ginger and fry for 3 minutes. Stir in curry powder, boiled and diced potatoes, chopped beans and grated carrots. Mix well,add the green peas and sprinkle 3 tbs of water. Season well and allow to cool.Heat the oven to  200 degree Celcius.Spray a sheet of samosa patti with oil and then cut into 3 strips. Put 2 tbsp of mixture at the top of a srip and fold over itself into a triangle.Put on a non-stick baking tray. Repeat with another sheet until the mix is over. Bake for 20 minutes....
