Swami Vivekananda pinned his hope on the youth of India who shall carry forward his mission to assert India’s spiritual might to the world. Swamiji, as he is revered by the spiritual fraternity of the world, believed that it is from the younger generation will come the heroes of modern India who shall spread the eternal spiritual truths that they have inherited from their great forefathers. He held out the promise of a glorious future for the youth if they believed his words. He said that his prescription to the modern Indian youth is not a fantasy but is borne out of experience from his childhood days which he is now putting to use. The focus of his message to the Indian youth is that India’s soul is essentially spiritual which needs revival and for that he needs young men, who are perfect embodiment of strength of body and mind and that the eternal power of his soul would conquer the world.
