Mahnaz Mohammadi winning laurels a long way from home

   ‘Be proactive in your life, designing exactly what you want, rather than reacting to what life throws at you’, advises Mahnaz Mohammadi, a Ph.D. scholar from Iran, who’s been calling India ‘home’ since 2008. A dreamer and achiever, she leaves no stones unturned, while valiantly pursuing her dreams. Cultural differences and language barriers didn’t stop her from achieving her goals and she’s a perfect example of how successful you can be, if you have determination and hard work to support your journey.

Can you tell us about your journey so far?

   My name is Mahnaz Mohammadi and my journey started with my birth as the first child of a middle class family in Shiraz, the cultural capital of Iran.
