   Procrastination is postponing, putting off, waiting infinitely. It is not laziness.You may be active but instead of working on important and meaningful tasks, you may be engaged in trivial activities.You pick up the low hanging fruits.

   It is a kind of escapism. When we are confronted with problems, we resort to different tricks. One is to deny or acknowledge the problem, shutting our eyes, hoping that the problem will vanish or the circumstances will change that it will solve itself they would become infructuous. We wish them away.

  It works both ways. The problem may get aggravated, become more complicated and go out of our hands. We may have lost our initiative and control. We become victims or mere instruments in the hands of others.
