Burning desire

  There once was an enthusiastic student who wanted to accomplish something in life. He approached the Greek philosopher, Socrates and sought his help to achieve success. “Excellence is to do a common thing in an uncommon way.”— Booker T. Washington. Being a man of few words, Socrates chose not to speak but to illustrate.

   Socrates took the boy to the beach and walked straight into the water up to neck deep. Without saying a word, Socrates put his hands on the shoulders of the boy....
