The past four years posted rather lacklustre results and latest mid-term review indicated that the trend would continue. Faced with a repeat ‘depressingly average’ prospect, the Management Committee undertook an in-depth assessment of overall operations. Their report covered the undermentioned areas and suggested corrective measures / fresh approach directed to steer the company along a ‘success route’, the distinct message being : to improve must be an aspiration always, else the future will remain a regret of not having been bold enough to break new ground. Poised to embark on a re-charted course and brimming with optimism, they were confident a rewarding phase lay ahead.
