A Letter to the Teens

My dearest teens,

     Parenting you at your teenage is complicated, challenging and at times maddening.

    I know this stage requires much of me at the same time much of you . You are growing to an adult, making room in your hearts for solitude, freedom and self decisions forgetting your mom who is still holding her heart full of grace, compassion and concern.

    Lovely teens, your moms hate seeing you upset when you get a low grade in your class, hate seeing you get anxious for the next test, hate the stress all your classes are causing; that doesn't mean we are okay for you not studying or pushing boundaries. It means, after all your efforts put in and hard work, it still didn't go well is okay.

    You are still loved cared and valued; for us your grades don’t define you. Don't give grades that much importance to make you feel and think, that they can dictate your future and....
