Breaking free from cocoon

   In one fell swoop, the bizarre pandemic of novel coronavirus has changed human life across the world. And it has taken a heavy toll of over seven lakh lives in the world. To escape its clutches, countries overwhelmed by it have pressed in severe measures like lockdown to check its spread.

   There are all too familiar sights of people stepping out of their homes with the ubiquitous masks snugly in place. The world is yet in the throes of it and the leaders keep battling it out. The scary lockdowns have brought in their wake what can be called pandemic fatigue inducing mental exhaustion.

   There are no gatherings, no handshakes, no hugs and no news from families, friends and acquaintances. People are missing out a lot what once breathed life into their living. Instead, fear has gripped one and all. There are dream-like moments in everyday life today, often jarring. Increased isolation and loneliness have impacted people in many....
