What?
A robotic arm is a type of mechanical arm, usually programmable, with similar functions to a human arm. This robotic arm may be the sum total of the mechanism or may be part of a more complex robot. The links of such manipulators are connected by joints allowing either rotation motor or translational displacement. And, these links of the manipulator can be considered to form a kinetic chain; where the terminus of the kinetic chain is called the end effector and it is comparable to the human hand. The benefit of these end effector or robotic hand is that they can be designed to perform any desired task such as wielding, gripping, spinning etc., depending on the application.
Dexterous nature
The most important feature of a robotic hand which makes it the equivalent to a human hand is its dexterous nature. Dexterity in this context means, the capability of changing the position and orientation of the manipulated object....
