Sometime back I read in the ‘Times of India’ about the announcement of Padma Vibhushan awards for excellence in different fields and one such recipient was Ramoji Rao, the creator of Ramoji Film City and Eenadu Group.

    At the same time a friend of mine asked me, ‘you travel to Hyderabad often, have you seen Ramoji Film City?’ – my reply was ‘No’ not yet and he said ‘If you have not seen Ramoji – you have not seen Hyderabad.’ That set me on a quest; I decided to visit Ramoji Film City on my next trip which was not far off. In the meantime I made a quick study of its creator.
