Read voraciously to become a prolific writer

  On the art of genre of writing, the famous U.S. novelist and journalist Annie Proulx once had said, “Writing comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write.” In fact, reading proves to be the stepping stone of the art and profession of writing. Without reading voraciously, it is quite difficult to write so profusely. Because reading facilitates the modus operandi of the art of writing. Reading supplies a host of novel and vital concepts, plots, scenes and writing styles without which it is quite hard to flourish and grow smoothly in the business of writing.

  Stephen King, the famous U.S. author, had once said, “If you want to be a writer you must do two things above all others: read a lot and a write a lot.” Writing becomes possible when there are some powerful muses for it, catalysts for it.
