Kerala State Entrepreneur Development Mission (KSEDM), an ambitious scheme of the Government of Kerala, aims at inculcating entrepreneurial confidence among the youth of the State through the process of selecting persons with aptitude and earnestness, training them meticulously and enabling them avail interest-free finance on easy terms from Banks/Financial Institutions. With the aim to reduce the level of unemployment and to build entrepreneurship among the youth of the state, Mr. K.M.Mani, Honourable Finance Minister of Kerala has announced the setting up of the Kerala State Entrepreneur Development Mission in his Budget Speech.

   The Mission aims at establishment of 10 micro enterprises in each local body in five years thereby giving encouragement to 50,000 entrepreneurs, about 50,000 more employment opportunities and much more indirect employment.
