Bio-diesel An eco-promise

    The ever increasing population, urbanization and living standards world over have necessitated the increasing use of energy for socio-economic growth. Global demand of petroleum is predicted to increase 40% by 2025. The emission of petroleum fuels releases large amounts of pollutants including sulphur oxides, soot, etc., cause serious health hazards. The fossil fuels are adding huge amounts of stored carbon dioxide (CO2 ) to the atmosphere, where it traps the Earth’s heat like a heavy blanket and causes the world to warm.

    Diesel is the large source of petroleum energy consumed by the world’s population.
