These days theatre is emerging as a robust medium to tell stories that help enact social change by changing perspectives of people. It kind of builds public discourse that helps us empathising the struggles of our fellow-beings.

   Banking upon physical theatre to create meaning through narratives and metaphor, British theatre actor and director Imogen Butler-Cole wrote Foreign Body, a theatrical play which is her solo show that portrays her journey of healing after sexual assault and focuses objectification of women.

   The play is both brave and liberating. Imogen is trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and has directed and acted in theatre and TV in Brazil, New Zealand, France, Belgium, Bangladesh, India and the U.K. Her award winning solo show Foreign Body has been touring internationally over the past two years.
