More so, when it’s a medical profession and an individual treats greed to the point of revulsion. Out of such strong sense of vocation was born the state-of-the art Kidney Institute in Ahmedabad.

   One of the largest institutes in the world, it takes care of all classes of patients with kidney diseases. Located on the Western end of the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, it also claims to be the largest tertiary care centre of its kind in the world and is recognized as an institute of national importance by the department of science and technology, Government of India. It has 438 beds for indoor patients, 150 beds each for urology and nephrology patients, 100 beds for transplant patients, 10 operation theatres and 60 units for dialysis.
