   Then we proceeded to Rhine Water Falls between Schaffhausen and Zurich. Though it is a small waterfall, our Guide informed that it is the largest waterfall in Europe probably because it is 150 metres wide and the volume of water passing through is immense. We went near the falls in a boat just like near Niagara Waterfalls though both are incomparable. In 1887 and 1919, there was opposition for starting an electricity generation plant. In 1944, the Council granted permission to build a power station. But 1,50,000 citizens including 49 famous people objected. So the project was dropped.

   Now the value of the falls is only a tourist attraction. Then we reached Engelberg, a resort in Central Switzerland which is the most beautiful place in the world.
