The Department of School Education and Literacy announces Central Sector National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme for 2023-24.
Online applications are invited by the Department of School Education and Literacy for the Scholarship Award in 2023-24. Details about the scholarship scheme are given below:
Name of the scholarship: Central Sector National Means-CumMerit Scholarship Scheme 2023.
Scholarship Scheme
Under this scheme, 100,000 scholarships are awarded to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than Rs. 3,50,000/- per annum from all sources.
Each State /UT have fixed quota of scholarship as given in the Annexure of the age group concerned of class VII and VIII. The scheme would provide reservation to different categories of students as per the State/ UT norms; as different States/UTs have their own norms of reservation.
