     Quinoa (pronounced as Keen–wah) is one among such world favourite health food. A rare plant food that is a complete source of protein including the ten essential amino acids that the body does not produce on its own.

   The quinoa is actually grain amaranth, with its centre of origin at the mountainous regions of South America. The plant is reported to have originated 7000 years ago. Though commonly known as amaranth grain it doesn’t have any relation with cereal grain.
