IIT Ropar invites applications for one JRF position to work in Early Career Research Award Project that has been funded by SERB, DST. The JRF will work in the project titled “Understanding and Modelling the Reactive Transport of Uranium Contaminated Ground water of Malwa Region, Punjab” under the supervision of the undersigned Dr. L. Vijay Anand. The position is temporary and available immediately. The selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph.D. programme as per the existing institute norms.

Positions: 1 (JRF).

Essential Qualifications: PG degree in any of the following: Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Applied Geology, or related major with minimum 60% marks. The applicant must have qualified the applicable National Eligibility Test.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in performing column transport experiments in lab and its associated data processing, Expertise in using geochemical/transport....
