Bihar Department of Education is to empanel 4257 guest teachers for teaching in higher secondary schools (10 + 2) in Bihar. The age limit for the recruitment of guest teachers is 21 to 65 years. As per the report published in leading daily newspapers, a subjectwise panel will be created at the district level for the appointment of Guest Teachers. This appointment process is expected to commence after the summer vacation. Guidelines have already been issued to the District Education Officers in this regard. Appointment of Guest Teachers is expected to be finalized tentatively by 15 June 2018.
