Filled with risks digitization has provided us with advantages and comforts not thought of in decades. Virtually every job and need is supported by the internet. From students to experts they are all supported by the net through research, visuals, spoken and written words.
We use it for the most basic stuff like GPS if we are lost or need to find anything like restaurant, hospital, chemist, online shopping, etc.
But if the advantages are many so are the disadvantages:-
1. Power to form public opinion.
2. Cyber-bullying.
3. Pornography.
4. Loss of privacy.
5. Danger to liberties (as each call, email leaves a digital trail which can be exploited by private companies and government.)
6. Hackers steal personal information from bank accounts, credit card purchases, computers, electronic gadgets, social media, etc.
7. Office workers waste time messaging, emailing,....
