The Department of Science and Technology (DST) has launched “Women Scientists Scheme (WOS)”. The scheme focuses on projects related to Science and Technology (S&T) interventions for societal benefit.

   This initiative is primarily aimed at providing opportunities to women scientists and technologists between the age group of 27-57 years who had a break in their career but desired to return to the mainstream.

   Department of Science and Technology (DST) was established in May 1971, with the objective of promoting new areas of Science and Technology and to play the role of a nodal department for organising, coordinating and promoting S&T activities in the country.

Course Level: Fellowship is available for pursuing Ph.D., M.Phil./M.Tech. and M.Sc., programmes.

Study Subject: WOS-B focuses on projects related to S&T interventions for societal benefit.
