The word is described as the sound echoing in the universe. The word is also said to echo within each one of us. Yet, we don’t pronounce it as a hard Aum or Om, but drag it in a rhythm – Aaaaauuuuuummmmmmm.

    Rhythm is such an integral part of our life. There’s a rhythm to the rotation and revolution of everything in the universe. We have days of 24 hours, years of 365 days, seasons that come and go in absolute cohesion and the waxing and waning of the moon that manage the tides on earth. There’s a rhythm that pervades our own body, with circadian rhythms such as the heart beating at about 60 to 100 beats per minute, the body clocking specific sleep patterns, body temperature rising and dropping as the day progresses, and much more. Such as the pervasion of rhythm that poetry is nothing but an innate part of our lives.
