What is Ransomware?

   ‘’Ransomware’’ is a malicious software that locks the devices like computer or tablet then asks a ransom to crack it. It is kind of cyber-attack. It attacks is typically carried out using a Trojan that is hidden as a legitimate file that the user is trapped into downloading or opening when it arrives as email attachments. It doesn’t steal your password or data but encrypts user’s files so that they can’t be opened.

   The user gets to know about infection after hacker pop-up a message or email warning demanding a payment to get the photos, documents, files etc. There’s commonly a limited deadline to pay and funds are often demanded via Bitcoin.
