The story goes that Bhakt Bodana loved Lord Krishna. Vijayanand Bodana a kshatriya Rajput of Dakor was a devotee of Lord Krishna and worshipped him with Tulsi leaves travelling to Dwarka every six months. He did this till he was 72 years old until he no longer had the strength to go to Dwarka.
On one such visit he told Bodana to get his bullock cart along and he would accompany him to Dakor. Pleased he went with a bullock cart to Dwarka. The priests there asked him why he had done so, he replied to take Lord Krishna with him.
The Dwarka priests locked and sealed the sanctum at night. At midnight, Lord Krishna is said to have broken open all doors, waking up Bodana and told him to take him to Dakor. After a distance seeing Bodana was not well Lord Krishna told him to rest and he drove the cart himself till they reached Dakor. He rested near the Bileshwar Mahadev temple and told Bodana to start driving.
