The following book review may sound like a James Joseph love-fest, which, however, shouldn’t give the illusion that the book is perfect. It is not. There are shortcomings, which are, luckily, few and far between. James’ style of writing is simple, yet deep; easy-to-read, yet memorable; evoking, yet balanced, which may be why his book has a special ring to it.He doesn’t shy away from depicting ugly, painful loss and this makes him all the more human, and the book, more likeable.
