1. Watch the most magnanimous annual festival that takes place in Panakha. The festival, which happens in February/March, commemorates the triumph of Bhutan, when Tibet invaded it in 1639. It is a sheer bliss to watch the local citizen-soldiers re-enact scenes from the 17th-century war between Bhutan and Tibet. The five-day festival also holds some impressive visuals.
