The University of Calcutta announces admissions for PG Diploma in Media Studies – Film and Television for the session 2016-17.
Eligibility: Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline (pass/ honours/ vocational, etc.,) from a recognised University. Those who have appeared for final examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: No age bar
Number of the Seats: 55 (fifty five only)
Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST and physically Handicapped candidates as per rules and University norms.
Selection: Thirty five (35) seats are filled through written test. Such candidates are exempted from interview. Twenty (20) Seats are filled through interview which is reserved only for candidates with Journalism and Mass communication /Film Studies/Videography as their pass/general/ honours/vocational subjects at the graduation level.
