Course Details
One year residential GME Training; on successful completion of this course, candidates obtain Part A of MEO class IV, the Certificate of Competency (CoC) required to join Indian or Foreign Merchant Ships as Junior Marine Engineer.
They can rise to the rank of Chief Engineer with subsequent CoCs.
Seats: 108 seats are available for sponsored /nonsponsored candidates for the 38th GME Batch.
Qualifications: Unmarried graduate Mechanical / Mechanical Automation / Naval Architecture Engineers with minimum 50% marks, and 50% marks in English for Std. X or XII are eligible to apply for the course.
Age: Not more than 28 years on 01st January 2017.
