It is natural for one to have shortcomings and, recognising them as undesirable, one makes efforts to vanquish these. Not getting rid of them early enough is cause for concern. But succumbing regularly indicates a deep seated malaise that must be exorcised like an evil spirit. (Inability to perform as expected could also be a case of misfit, needing change in job allocation that allows his/ her innate flair to surface).
At another end is the breed not diffident, searching to accelerate/ diversify assimilation (business basics/ effectiveness) phase, thus expediently converting it to experience / versatility. Since such a mix of personnel routinely exists in every office, that organisation will be more productive which, as a programme, encourages laggards to mend their ways/ raises output and simultaneously channelizes talent of the brighter lot.
