Research Training Fellowship for Clinicians is launched by the Wellcome Trust/ DBT India Alliance. This Training Fellowship will provide adequate research training to prepare interested individuals to pursue a career of clinician scientist and help them strengthen their track record for pursuing a competitive research career. Major purpose of the fellowship program is to encourage basic, patient-oriented and translational research by clinicians. These areas of research include but are not limited to disease diagnosis, epidemiology, natural history, pathogenesis and prophylaxis. Overall, the Program must be built around a rigorous research focus and should provide comprehensive training in research methodology and experimental design.
