As we all know homosapiens i.e., we human beings have two sets of teeth. The milk teeth or deciduous dentition that erupt at six months’ of age. There are a total number of 20 milk teeth 10 in the upper jaw and 10 in the lower jaw. Similarly the permanent teeth first erupt at six years of age and remain for a life-time in an individual. There are 32 permanent teeth in total, 16 in the upper jaw and 16 in the lower jaw.
