Whenever we hear the word “corona warriors” the image that comes to our mind is of women and men in protective equipment, having sophisticated medical devices in their hands and rushing from bed to bed in hospitals saving people’s lives. We usually forget a major section of the society working relentlessly for the welfare of the COVID-19 affected persons without expecting any monetary benefits in return.

  Coronavirus has put the entire world on to heels. We are well aware of the huge death toll already claimed by this virus. Out of those people who survived the infection, some are suffering from the impact of the intense treatment and some are fighting with less severe associated effects of the virus. We humans are social beings who rely on cooperation for our basic survival. This virus has deprived us of the solace of the physical touch but failed to keep our hearts and minds apart.
