Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project. “Search for exotic modes of vibration /rotations at high spins in triaxial deformed nuclei near mass 170”. The project is sanctioned by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST. Government of India for 3-years. The appointment will be made purely on temporary basis for the duration of the project.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University with NET. Working experience with gamma ray detectors and basic nuclear data analysis techniques is desirable.

Age Limit: 28 years. Relaxable upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Fellowship: For NET (JRF) qualified candidates, the fellowship will be Rs.16000/-P.M. + HRA (as admissible) for first two years and Rs.18000/- P.M. + HRA (as admissible) for 3rd year as per DST....
