Introduction

   Natural Diversity is the cardinal character of some of the special regions of this globe. We can find it in the African continent,in South and North America as well as in Asia. In the Asian continent, it is more visible in India, though the region referred is smaller than those in the other continents.The diversity is evident in geographical features, climate and rainfall which causes the variation in the vegetation, flora, fauna, crops cultivated, cropping patterns and other allied features, one leading to the other.

The different entities of Diversity exhibited in the Indian Peninsula: India exhibits diversity in Geographical features, climate, soil types, agro ecosystems, plants, animals, crops, agriculture, cultivation practices and food habits.
