The word cancer creates a fear in one’s mind. Cancer is defined as abnormal unregulated growth of cells in the body, which has the potential to spread to other parts of the body. Cancer can occur in any part of the body and can occur from any type of cell that then starts multiplying in an unregulated manner.

   According to the studies conducted in 2012, about 14.1 million new cases of cancer occur globally. The exact cause of cancer is not known but there are various predisposing factors or risk factors that lead to the occurrence of cancer.

Genetics – A few of the cancer have genetic link and are found in members of the same families. About 5%-10% of the cancers are genetically linked.
