Broadcasting on television and radio is a vast field employing thousands of people doing a wide range of jobs. Broadcasting is considered appealing because you either become famous or at least work with the famous.

   The range of programmes offered is enormous. It could be news, entertainment, sports, music, infotainment (programme which blend of information and entertainment). Majority of the jobs require specialist knowledge, training and experience.

    Broadcasting work is both technically and creatively demanding. There is always the pressure of the deadlines. Administrative expertise is also important.
