CIVIL AVIATION INDUSTRY is one of the fastest growing industries in India. With a 16.2 per cent growth in overall passenger movement in 2010, the Indian civil aviation is the ninth largest aviation market in the world now. Civil Aviation is set to witness a boom with the number of passengers is projected to move up to 300 million per annum by 2020 from the current 91.62 million. To meet the growing needs of the civil aviation sector, the government of India has opened up the civil aviation to private sector in a big way under its open sky policies and is building new airports and modernizing existing airports.
