SCHOLARSHIP FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
Students who have appeared for the higher secondary examinations conducted by state boards, CBSE and ICSE can apply for scholarship under the central sector scheme of scholarship for college and university students.
Students who have passed and secured a minimum of 80% of marks and above in the examination held in March 2011 and pursuing FIRST YEAR of higher studies in 2011-2012 (not correspondence or distance mode) are eligible to submit application for getting the scholarship. The scholarship will be given @ Rs.1000/- per month at Graduation level for first three years of College and University courses and Rs.2000/- per month at Post graduation level.
Students pursuing professional courses would get Rs.2000/- per month in the 4th and 5th year. The scholarship would be paid for 10 months in an academic year. The students should belong to non-creamy layer (Parental....
