Yashraj Films to Release More Youth-based Films in 2011
The evergreen Yash Raj Films has launched a new studio called Y-films that would especially focus on youth-centric movies and on bringing issues relevant to them on floor. The movies will be made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, headed by Ashish Patil, former head of MTV India. The production house has of late been into youth-oriented flicks including ‘Dhoom’, ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, as well as ‘Badmaash Company’.
The first youth based film in the offing is titled “Luv Ka The End” which is an anti romantic comedy. The film has Shraddha Kapoor and debutant Taaha Shah playing the lead roles, and it is slated to hit theatres on 6th May. The next in the list is a romantic comedy titled “Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge”.
