A much worn out cliche. But medicine is after you get the disease and meant to cure; but laughter is prevention. It is said that man is the only animal which laughs. Laugh away your cares, anxieties, worries; laugh them out; laughter keeps the doctor away. So simple, so obvious, so cheap, that it is available for us free. Still it is a rare commodity these days.

  How many of us laugh during the day? Very few. Only the children laugh. From my window seat in the first floor, I listen to their innocent, boisterous laughter daily. It is ennobling; it is contagious; it releases my stress and tension; it gives meaning to my life; it is a reminder how we should live without being weighed down by the regrets of the past or the anxiety for the future. It is a great lesson on mindfulness. To live in the present moment; to enjoy the game of life; to play your role in it, to know your place in the creation.
