The Government of India released first instalment of PM-JANMAN scheme for pucca homes to one lakh beneficiaries on January 15 – the first instalment of funding – for PUCCA homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) to one lakh Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) beneficiary families as part of the recently-launched PM-JANMAN package for the overall development of PVTG habitations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 15 agreed to chalk out a roadmap for future initiatives to further strengthen the “special and privileged strategic partnership” between the two nations. The two leaders reviewed progress on a number of issues of bilateral cooperation in follow-up to recent high-level exchanges between the two countries.
