Under the Indian Knowledge System, the SCF seeks to integrate everything from the “‘ancient Indian heritage” to “Indian educational ideology” to the contributions of Indians in various fields of school education.

To revamp its educational setup in keeping with the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) of Maharashtra has prepared a draft framework for school education that seeks to emphasize imparting higher education in regional languages so that the lack of proficiency in English does not become a hindrance in the career of students.
