Rajasthan’s Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot candidly admits that English as a language has always been a problem with him and he unhesitatingly admitted that he is poor in conversations in English. But the CM realises the importance of the English language as it’s an international language and he also feels that one should read and write in English if one wants to grow in life. The Chief Minister is aware of the fact that the various English medium schools in the state charge exorbitant fees and a common man is unable to send his child to such schools because of the unaffordable fees.

  Rajasthan is the first state in the country to start a “No bag day” to encourage activity-based learning in schools. Every Saturday would have a different activity in the schools. There are different themes for every Saturday, from 1st to fourth Saturday.

  The CM said he always gets startled whenever he sees a child conversing in the English....
