I have a very interesting story to recount. Prateek, a 17-year-old boy of class XII in a prestigious private residential school, always topped his class. This laurel made his parents and teachers proud of him. Prateek’s parents always wanted to see him as an IAS officer. Everything had been going very well in the right direction until one day he reached home when his school closed for two months for the summer vacation.
Unlike earlier occasions of vacation, Prateek seemed to be distracted and disappointed this time and it was amazing for his parents. He preferred to stay alone and avoided the company of his bosom friends with whom he used to once spend his time. Nor was he very serious in his study. He would keep sleeping or talking on his mobile phone. Prateek had totally changed and this disturbing situation made his parents very worried and alarmed. They were very puzzled to find their son in the big trouble.
