For the last few days I have been watching the World Cup Football games. What struck me most was the agility and stamina of the players. Their athletic frames were stately and majestic, chiselled. Not even one extra gram of flesh in their body. Their bodies are just “muscles of iron and nerves of steel inside which dwells a mind of the same material as that of which thunderbolts are made”.

Many trip and fall and most of the time they get up and continue the game as if nothing had happened. Their attitude and passion for the game are astounding and admirable. They are able to endure long hours of physical and mental stress. It is not just techniques and ability to score goals or defend, but it is how they play in the field and face the heat.

The team work is perfect. They can send messages, communicate across the field to their team members about what their next move would be, without the medium of any language or even signs. They think alike and play....
