As a two-year-old child fidgeting with a mini-golf set gifted by his father and accompanying him on occasion to the Golf course, little did Kshitij Naveed Kaul know that he would be playing a Pro at the Panasonic Open, an Asian Tour event, ranking sixth.
“Golf has been the bonding time with my father who was usually away sailing being a submariner. My father was a golfer and would invent various means to play games. Whenever he used to go for a game, I was ready to go with him. He is a great storyteller and I enjoyed the conversations on the way to the golf course,” recalls the 19-year-old who has a total of 40 titles under his belt as a junior golfer.
For someone playing from a very young age, Kshitij turned Amateur in 2016 and within a short span of time took the top ranking in the Amateur category winning almost all major championships in the country, including NCR cup, Maharashtra Amateurs, and Haryana....
